Sony being sued over blu-ray tech

26 05 2007

First of all:

LOLOLOLOL

Mmkay, back to business: Sony’s getting their ass kicked in yet another way today. “A California based company (Target Technology) has taken action against Sony who its technology is being used in the thin alloy film coating on Sony’s Blu-ray discs.” I have to laugh at Sony yet again for using patented material in a product. This is dualshock all over again, and I will tell you right now: this is the end of blu-ray. Just like the dualshock lawsuit was the end of that tech. Buhbye Sony format, Buhbye PS3, BUHBYE SONY FUCKING COMPUTER ENTERTAINMENT… Hopefully.

Amazing find. I would like to see BluRay fail personally. I’m a HD-DVD owner and backer. While not as big as a BluRay disc, HD-DVDs are still quite impressive. Not as easy to destroy. Cheaper. Dual formatt. For all these reasons, I hope HD-DVD replaces standard DVDs and slowly finds an audience for itself.

PS: HD-DVD backs Porn. Doesn’t get much better than that :D

I agree with you completely, HD-DVD seems like the clear winner. And the fact that it backs porn is a selling point for me :D XD
