Merry Christmas Everyone!

Moving on, I’ve finally found a new set of headphones that are better then my Sony headphones! Earlier today my Mom took me over to walgreens (The only store open on christmas eve) to get me a new set of headphones because I managed to rip the cable to the right speaker out accidentally. Anyway, I found a pair I thought looked quite cool (Because it’s all about how fucking awesome I look in the dark with the headphones on) but they were 50 bucks. My mom got ‘em anyway (because she’s cool like that during christmas, lol) and here we are. The headphones are the Philips SHN5500. They have the best sound quality of any headphones I’ve owned… and I’ve had at least 40 sets of headphones, so trust me on this.

When I first got ‘em out and hooked them into my pc, I was wondering what in the hell this bar attached to the headphone cable (shown in the pic) was for about 5 minutes before i realized it’s a mini-amp for the headphones if i ever need that extra.. oomph for my music, which is a plus because I’ve got a few low volume mp3s that I couldn’t hear with my sony headphones. So yea, I love my headphones enough to ramble on about them for 20 minutes when i should be sleeping… yes, they’re that good. =P

So yeah, this is the end of my post tonight.. I’ma go to sleep now.

Yes, i’m still alive… sorta. I’ve been busy with random crap (like playing Rayman: Raving Rabbids) and haven’t had time to post something in the last week or so. Moving on, I’m still waiting on that VM Slice. I Still haven’t gotten it yet, probably because I’m poor 99% of the time, lol. Hopefully next week i’ll get it so I can write that review on it.. Hopefully.

So yea, I’m getting a new cell phone sometime this month.^_^ Right now i have an Oystr, made by Kyocera. It’s a very basic flip (in ‘pearl’ white, lol) with very bad battery life. I’ve regretted buying it for the last 4 months specifically because of the battery life issue. So I’ve been waiting for virgin to come out with another cheaper, semi-cool phone for under $80 (yes, I’m a cheap bastard), and they finally did it with the UTStarcom Slice. Ths Slice is a “candy bar” phone similer to the Motrola Slvr (which I thought was kinda coolies when it came out). It doesn’t have all the features of the Slvr like bluetooth or a camera, but I have not once used those features on a phone. I just use my phone.. as a phone, not some camera/pda/gaming/pocket-pc hybrid thing like some people do. I just need a phone that has okay sound quality and good battery life, and that’s what I’m getting with the Slice… Plus, it looks cool, and it does have games if i ever wanted to play a game on my phone if i’m ever that bored (it has lumines ^_^) so that’s an advantage. I’l write a long review when i get it, so that’s a future post to look forward to.

Okay, I picked up XIII (Thirteen) today at GameStop for $4, i’ve been wanting to play this game for a while since I love Cel-Shaded games, and it just looked fun. =P The game’s pretty good, the graphics are awesome (cel-shading ftw), and the sounds are kinda funny, since you get a visual version of the sounds on screen (like a comic book.. POW!). It’s one of the funniest FPS games I’ve ever played, and it’s worth the 4 bucks if your local GameStop game store has it. I mean, Who can resist this:

So yea, i’ve just found out that the name for Sony’s online gaming network for the PS3 is “Playstation Network”. How fucking inventive. You know, for something that’s supposed to compete with Xbox Live, they could have come up with a better name, or at least do what they do best: steal something, say they’ve had the idea for over 5 years, and try to sue everyone else over it. I can just see it now ‘Playstation LIVE’, then Sony’s excuse: “We’ve been working on Playstation live since 1997!!!! *files lawsuit against Microsoft*”. But yea, shitty name for a shitty service on a shitty console… Sony’ should just quit while they still have money and just leave the gaming industry, because ps3 will be the demise of the company. The only thing sony’s ever done right is make good headphones, and phil will agree with me on this. They should stick to what they do best, and to me it seems that making bitchin’ headphones is all they’re good at… Okies i’m done with this rant for today.

Yes people, I’m on my 5th PS2 in 5 years… My last one died after I took a sledge to it in may after E3…<_< it… it made me kill it!!! Well actually it was dying already, just thought i’d help it out. =P Well anyways I got rid of that hate for sony because the PS2 still pwns the PS3 in more ways then one (I’ve played it before, teh suxxors). Theres quite a few games i missed out on after the smashing of my ps2, so i bought a used one today so i can finally play the games i wanted to try, namely: XIII, Kingdom Hearts 2, Guitar Hero 2, Final Fantasy XII, and a few other’s i can’t remember at this exact moment. Anyway, if anyone cares where I’m at, I’ll be in front of my TV playing KH2.

Okay, since the day Nintendo’s Wii came out, people have been reporting that the wrist straps on their wiimotes are snapping, and therefore sending the controller flying at their oh-so-shitty TVs.

I’ve heard reports that a 7 year old girl playing wii bowling chucked the controller so hard that the strap snapped in half and hit her dad’s rear-projection tv, therefore breaking it. Heres what i don’t get: How can a 7 year old put so much force behind that throw to snap the strap, and crack the tv? The remote would have lost quite a bit momentum after the strap broke, and while it may have hit the tv , it would have been off clourse, and wouldn’t have enough momentum to actually slam hard enough into the tv and crack the glass as bad as the pictures i’ve seen show… not unless this guy has his little girl on steroids or he intentionally fucked with the strap so he could sue nintendo… I call Shenanigans!!!!!!!

I’ve also seen vids of people intentionally NOT wearing the wrist strap (because it ‘feels odd’) and chucking a wiimote like a tennis racket as hard as they can at a plasma tv when you see constant reminders to put the strap on everywhere in the system… what I’m getting at is: Some people are just fucking retards. And so ends my rant.
