And I promise to be more active from now on, I’ve just become so addicted to Team Fortress 2 lately that i haven’t been able to blog much. Anyway I now have a twitter account so I keep that up to date fairly easily.

Yeah I forgot to mention my new TV back in January, but I have an excuse: Everything was going horrible with my old PC. But now that that’s fixed I decided I should post a little bit of info about my TV and how everything’s going so far. Reason? I need filler content. So here we go: I bought a Vizio 32-inch LCD HDTV back in January to replace my dying 20" RCA TruFlat, that had been giving me a lot of trouble since october. Well it’s been an interesting ride with Vizio to say the least. I’ve had 2 return it twice: the first 2 TVs developed a nice problem with the LCD panel being loose, and the second one had a faulty backlight. Well I got my 3rd one out of a new shipment so I was praying that this one wouldn’t be faulty, and that little bit of hope worked: The TV is perfect. The picture quality’s amazing and it makes my 360 games look just amazing. The sound quality’s not so great but that’s why I have the Sony surround system. It’s a great TV for the price ($629.99, but it went on sale for $600 after I bought it, and circuit city’s price-matching gave me the 30 bucks back). I didn’t really know what to expect with Vizio since I hadn’t really heard of them until like a day before I bought the TV, but they make great TVs for the price. I’m pretty sure my experience with the first two was just a very bad shipment of ‘em, Since I haven’t heard any complaints like that happened before. So would I buy another one of these? Hell yes. Yup, I got an iPod Shuffle today. Why you may ask? Well it starts like this, Last week when I was listening to music in the kitchen I managed to knock over my glass of water and the dock port for my Zune got a little wet and as with most electronic devices that get wet: It decided to stop working. Well when it wouldn’t sync the next day after drying out I decided to ask my sister if I could borrow her shuffle; She said I could have it since she never used it. Well I got to liking the shuffle over the next week, and Then I found out my Zune worked again (just needed to dry out a bit more, works 100% now). Well when she found out my Zune worked again, she (for reasons unknown to me) wanted her Shuffle back. This kinda sucked because the shuffle’s perfect for when I’m walking chastity or when I’m at school or work, Since I don’t like taking the Zune to either place for fear of it getting stolen. So while my Mom and I were out at circuit city today (shopping for printers for her and a router for me). Well mom got her printer and there was a $50 discount, so she decided to buy me a Shuffle as an early Easter gift-a-majig, so that’s how I got it.
Interesting story, no? Anyway I love the little thing so yeah I’m pretty happy right now. And like always with new new stuff I’ve gotten well, when possible): Pics!
So yeah I finally built my new PC, and it’s fairly shiny spec-wise: 1.8ghz Pentium Dual-Core, 2gb DDR2-800 Ram, 512mb GeForce 8600GT, Windows Vista Business (thank you Andy ^_^), then there’s the basic stuff: DVD burner, 120gb hard drive (yeah I need more space), and such. It’s a big improvement over my last desktop, which was just getting to be too slow for what I needed it for. So now it’s time for pics!
Yeah I’m too tired to take any more tonight.
But yeah, I should be a lot more active on here now.

So yeah, my computer decided to have a kicking itself in the balls moment this week. The main hard drive completely died, taking everything on there with it. Now that wouldn’t have been a big problem since most of my shit is on my second hard drive, and I’d be able to do a factory restore without having to worry about losing my music and shit. But my dad decided to fuck that over by formatting all the drives on my PC while i was at work, so i’m pretty much fucked until i can get my new laptop. So that’s what’s going on here.
Yup, it’s finally 2008. Anyone have a new year’s resolution? Personally, I didn’t bother this year since making one will ultimately assure that I will NEVER do it, So I just kind of said “ah well screw it this year”. In other news Redshift turned a year back in December and I completely forgot about posting anything about It, because I’m just cool like that. But as it’s early in the morning and I’m tired as hell, I can’t keep typing this any longer so I must go sleep. *wanders back to my room*
Well as I had money to spend today (thanks to my uncle and my sister giving me gift cards for the mall) I decided to spend it all on games and stuff for my Xbox 360, like anyone in my position. So what’d I get? Well lezze here: An Xbox 360 HD VGA Cable, Rockstar’s Table Tennis, Ridge Racer 6, Perfect Dark Zero, and 1600 Microsoft Points. So I think I made out fairly well considering I only spent 70 bucks. Table tennis is a lot more fun than it should be, Perfect dark is… challenging, and ridge racer 6 is fun but there are some fairly annoying points to it, like the announcer that wont shut the hell up. The VGA cable works great but I can’t use it right now as I don’t have the space on my desk for the 360. Anyway the mall was horribly packed today as you can probably guess, we had people lined up around the store, and even had a line just to browse, it was that packed. So that’s what I did today, so I’m now off to go do something else.
